Saigling Library

An elementary library program is a fun, welcoming time when young students visit the school library to explore books and build early literacy skills. During the program, the librarian might read a story aloud, introduce new books or authors, and teach simple library skills—like how to care for books or find them on the shelves. Students often participate in hands-on activities such as drawing, answering questions about the story, or choosing their own books to check out. The goal is to help children develop a love of reading and feel comfortable using the library.
