Biography:
Welcome to Saigling Elementary School! I have the privilege of serving as the principal of this wonderful learning community, and I am excited to share a bit about myself and my passion for education.
My philosophy of education is grounded in the belief that every child has unique strengths, talents, and potential waiting to be unlocked. I am a strong advocate for fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment where students are empowered to explore, question, and discover. Collaboration among students, parents, teachers, and the community is at the heart of our approach as we work together to inspire a love for learning and personal growth.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my two children. My son and daughter are both graduates of Plano Academy High School. Time with them not only brings me joy, but also provides valuable insights and perspectives that I incorporate into my role as a campus leader.

Biography:
I am thrilled to serve as your assistant principal at Saigling Elementary for the upcoming school year.
Born in California and raised in Texas, I am a proud Plano East Senior High School graduate.
I began my journey in education at Texas Woman’s University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Education. I later received my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Arlington and completed my Educational Leadership certification through Texas A&M University–Commerce.
My career in education began in 2010 as a math teacher at Otto Middle School. During my time at Otto, I also served as Math Department Chair, provided Title I math support, and worked as a mathematics curriculum writer. In 2019, I was grateful for the opportunity to move to Frankford Middle School as an Academic Specialist, where I served as the Section 504 Coordinator and a dyslexia therapist.
My family includes my three amazing children—Kaylie, Aidan, and Samantha—my husband, Michael, and our labradoodle, Harvey. Together, we enjoy hiking, cooking, crafting, photography, and playing games.
I am a firm believer that all students can learn, and I am committed to supporting each child’s learning journey so they can reach their fullest potential.
